Rajeev Shah, MBA, Senior Advisor

Rajeev Shah joined the Cooper Family Office with over 15 years of investment experience. He is a fundamental investor who has experience investing in publicly traded securities, private equity, and manager selection. He has invested across the capital structure (high yield, converts, and equity) and across different investment strategies (private equity, thematic long/short, short-bias, and event-oriented). Most recently, he was at PAAMCO Prisma, a $30 bn AUM fund of funds where he helped manage a portfolio of direct and co-investment securities and lead allocations to event driven hedge funds. He previously worked at Paulson & Co, Soundpost Partners, Tremblant Capital, MSD Capital (the family office of Michael Dell), and General Atlantic. He started his career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Co. He has a bachelor's degree in engineering and a bachelor's degree from Wharton (as a graduate of the Management & Technology Program) at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard.

Mackinley Ross, Portfolio Management, Analyst

Mackinley Ross joined the Cooper Family Office as part of a separate team which oversees the office's equities portfolio. He assists with sector allocation, risk management, and in assessing the impact of geopolitical events on the US equities market. In addition, he analyzes public equities and liquid alternative investments, including hedge funds. Mackinley received his B.A. in Markets and Cultures at Southern Methodist University. He formerly worked at RBRA Capital, LLC. a boutique multi-family office where he analyzed the interplay between geopolitics and financial markets. Mac has worked with Carlson Capital and Mesirow Financial, and has worked on Senatorial and Presidential campaigns.
