Devon Jordan, Engineer
Devon Jordan joined the Cooper Family Office as an engineer/analyst overseeing public and private investments in technology, blockchain and artificial intelligence. He is instrumental in constructing diversified internal portfolios in transformative and disruptive new technologies . Devon is on the board of the Family Office University program and the Stern School of Business Family Office Council. Devon graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in industrial engineering and previously worked in the civil engineering and telecommunication industries.
James P Jalil, Esq, Senior Advisor in Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies
James P Jalil joined the Cooper Family Office as a nationally recognized expert in Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, and Digital Assets. He serves as a Director of the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, the world's leading non-profit trade association promoting the comprehensive adoption of Blockchain technology and Crypto assets across global markets. Prior to becoming an advisor to the Cooper Family Office, Mr. Jalil enjoyed a lengthy and respected career as a corporate and securities lawyer in New York, most recently as a senior partner in the law firm of Thompson Hine, LLP, where he was a member of the firm's Executive Committee, and chaired the firm's Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets Practice Group. In his legal career he represented a broad spectrum of public and private companies, as well as hedge funds, private equity firms, and broker-dealers, in connection with formation, capital acquisition, and ongoing compliance matters.

He also represented clients in the Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, and Digital Assets space in connection with a wide range of matters, including token offerings and SEC compliance issues. Mr. Jalil is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University Law School in New York City, where he co-teaches a course on Blockchain, Smart Contracts and Decentralized Finance (DiFi), as well as courses in Commercial Drafting and Securities Regulation. Mr. Jalil received a B.A. in Economics from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a JD from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
