We invest in real estate through direct and partnership opportunities, as well as commingled funds. In addition, we invest in real estate financing and debt, through co-investment with other family offices, directly, and via funds. Areas of focus have been senior living, light industrial, storage, student housing, workforce housing, and triple net commercial buildings.
Marianna Fazylova, CAIA, Senior Advisor, Real Estate
Marianna Fazylova joined the Cooper Family Office as an Investment Analyst. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate (level II). Her prior position was with Jacobson & Co, an investment office of the Jacobson family, with interests in real estate, oil & gas, farmland, hedge funds and other alternative investments, Marianna oversaw private market investments for their family office. Previously Marianna worked for Rosemont Capital, a private investment firm of the Heinz Family. She was involved in a variety of responsibilities relating to transaction due diligence, deal execution and monitoring of investments and portfolio. Before joining Rosemont, Marianna was an Analyst with Equiventure Capital, a family-run investment advisory firm, focusing on venture capital and special situations. Marianna began her career at the United Nations Headquarters, where she conducted research and analyses and wrote reports on a wide range of economic and social issues at the Department of Social and Economic Affairs (DESA). Marianna is a former professional chess and soccer player. She holds an MA from New York University (NYU) and a BBA with Honors from Pace University.
